Swing Left Homepage
In 2024, I led our homepage redesign project for Swing Left, working with UX designers at Wide Eye and our internal engineering team. Before & after screenshots below.

Before - This design wasn't engaging to users, and presented too many options without a clear hierarchy to guide users to the right CTA.
During - Phase 1 of the site redesign with Wide Eye was mainly styling updates with minimal restructuring, to conserve engineering resources for larger redesign in Phase 2.
After - The redesigned homepage includes a punchier hero with immediate CTAs, and more space for imagery and storytelling on Swing Left's community and impact. I also wrote all site copy for the updated homepage.
After - Down the page, we gave users another opportunity to plug in their zip code to find volunteer actions, plus space to highlight the organization's track record.
Swing Left “Take Action” Funnel
“Take Action” is Swing Left’s primary funnel for volunteer sign-ups during peak election season, initially launched in 2018. In 2024, we invested in a redesign process, which I led from user research to its release, working with UX designers at Wide Eye and our internal engineering team. While this part of the site isn’t active right now, you can see screenshots below.
Before - The 2020 version of Take Action was a simple landing page that didn't give users a sense of what to expect when they were prompted to enter their zip code, and wasn't visually engaging.
After - The updated Take Action includes a more engaging hero and a stickier landing page with remote volunteering options to grab users' attention, even before they enter their zip code. (Still, more that 60% of users go on to see zip-related results, an important metric for our in-person volunteer goals.) I also wrote all site copy for the updated Take Action experience.
After - The search results for Take Action now feature imagery and "priority" tags to increase engagement. Each card also links directly to the event's Mobilize sign-up page, rather than an interstitial Swing Left-branded page, which added friction.
Vote Forward Homepage
Vote Forward is Swing Left’s sister organization, and our Product/Engineering team serves both sites equally. In 2024, I led our homepage redesign project for Vote Forward, working with UX designers at Wide Eye and our internal engineering team. Before & after screenshots below.

Swing Left “Our Targets” Page
For the 2022 midterms, I managed the launch of Swing Left’s new interactive target library, where users can explore target races, find information on supported candidates, and donate or volunteer for the race of their choice. Swing Left “Blueprint” Donation Platform
In 2019, my team worked on developing and launching a new fundraising platform under the Swing Left brand, called Blueprint. The product was modeled after a “robo advisor” approach to political giving, offering donors quarterly portfolios of high-ROI races and civic organizations to support. I worked on the 0 to 1 product marketing plans, website copy, customer experience, and more, serving as Program Manager and then Product Manager for new features, such as the giving circles program.
Blueprint was sunset in 2023 to streamline Swing Left’s donation offerings, but I’ve included reference screenshots below.

Second Saturday Madison
Second Saturday Madison is a small community service club I started in Madison, Wisconsin. I created the brand and website, which includes a new member interest form, project nomination form, calendar of upcoming events, and a photo log of past events. Check it out at secondsaturdaymadison.org.
